Features and Benefits
◎Won’t pollute natural stone;
◇High modulus, can withstand ±25% displacement of the original joint size on appropriately
designed joints;
◇ It has excellent adhesion to most building materials, such as stone, glass, metal,
ceramic tiles and anodized aluminum without primer;
● Excellent UV resistance and weather resistance, long material life cycle and long-term good
protective performance;
◇Single-component, easy-to-use formula.
composition
◇Single-component, neutral, room temperature water vapor curing silicone sealant.
application
◎ MF889A silicone stone weather-resistant sealant does not contaminate porous materials such as
natural stone, and can effectively prevent dirt and sagging of metal plates and glass. It can
form a durable and elastic waterproof interface with most building materials. MF889A
silicone stone weather-resistant sealant can be used in new construction or renovation construction
Moderate.

Adopt standards
MF889A silicone stone weather-resistant sealant meets or even exceeds the following standards and specifications:
• ASTM C 920 Class S, Type NS, Level 25
Application method
◇Surface cleaning
Remove all grease, dust, and water remaining at seams and recessed parts of the assembly
Sealant for building doors and windows Slande
stains, frost, surface stains, old sealant, assembly accessories and protective coatings and other impurities
and contaminants.
Non-porous materials (such as metal and glass) must use solvent to clean the surface
to be glued according to the "two-cloth wiping method". In all cases, solvent must
be wiped with a clean, lint-free white cloth. Do not use detergent or soapy water.
Porous materials must be cleaned by grinding, sawing, washing (with water, etc.), mechanical
grinding, or a combination of the above methods to clean the surface to be sealed. Be sure to ensure
that the surface to be applied with sealant is completely clean and dry. Dust and loose particles should
be blown away with grease-free compressed air or vacuumed up.
◎Use primer
Primer is usually not required when using MF889A silicone stone weathering sealant. However,
an adhesion test must be passed to determine whether a primer is required. If it is determined through
testing that primer is needed, pour the primer onto a piece of lint-free white cloth before injecting
glue, apply it to a thin layer on the surface of the joint to be glued, and let it air dry in time.
●Shading
Open-cell polyurethane foam rods, closed-cell polyethylene, and non-outgassing polyolefin materials
are recommended cushioning materials. For shallower joints, polyethylene tape is recommended
to prevent three-sided bonding.
◎Packing material
Areas near seams need to be masked to ensure perfect and neat work lines. Never allow masking tape to come into
contact with the clean surface to which glue will be applied. After the glue injection is completed, trimming
must be carried out immediately before the sealant has formed a skin. After the trimming work is completed,
the masking tape should be removed immediately.
◎Glue injection method
●Install appropriate gasketing material, adhesive spacers or tape as required.
● Continuously squeeze MF889A silicone stone weather-resistant sealant into and fill the joints.
When the surface of the sealant has not yet formed a skin, use appropriate force to compact
the sealant into the lining material and joint surface. It is recommended to use convex tools to
trim the rubber surface into a concave shape. Do not use soap or water as auxiliary materials
for trimming.
After trimming, remove the masking tape immediately.
● Be careful not to spray uncured silicone sealant onto non-abrasive surfaces, such as
polished granite or other natural stone, because these wet silicone sealants cannot
be completely removed with organic or chlorinated solvents. Therefore, these
surfaces must be masked or extra care must be taken when applying glue to prevent sealing.
Once the cured sealant comes into contact with these surfaces,
surface, it will leave a film on the surface, which may affect the surface of the substrate
of beauty.
Operation precautions
● If it accidentally gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
●
Do not keep in contact with skin for a long time and avoid contact with children.
●Do not contaminate food, drugs or cosmetics
● Please do an adhesion test before use and refer to the company's technical information and safety data
sheets to learn about the safe use, hazards and other information about the product. For any
safety matters not involved in this product, please comply with the requirements of JGJ102
